Daxsen Bank is an Ecuadorian new bank headquartered in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It was founded in 2022 and is part of the holding company The Daxsen Corporation.

It is considered the first 100% digital bank in Ecuador.

Daxsen Bank was founded in 2022 with the intention of automating most financial operations and services, seeking efficiency and low operating costs. In addition, this new bank sought to generate a high percentage of revenue through transactional services, creating attractive products and services for international investors.

All this within a financial system that was dominated by five banks, which presented a slow and not very disruptive process to adapt to new technological trends, with banking agencies that generated high operating costs.

Daxsen Bank was created in an environment of innovation and implementation of disruptive solutions, to be the leader in Ecuadorian digital banking with fully digital operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Daxsen Bank has adopted the "new bank" model for its operations, based on three fundamental pillars.

The first is a transactional model, where the bank opens accounts at no cost to customers but earns for every transaction made (deposits, transfers, withdrawals, purchases with payment methods, etc.).

The second is an online-only operation, where all products and services are offered, managed, and delivered online, drastically reducing the bank's operating costs.

Finally, the third pillar is the low-risk operations that the bank offers in terms of transactions and loans, incorporating innovative services such as payroll, salary advances, and confirmation.


Products and Services[editar]

  • Payment button: It is a product that generates access to payments through virtual channels with the availability of being able to use in entities that do not accept normal card commissions. In addition, this payment button allows you to pay for products or services on multiple websites or apps, using the funds available in any of your accounts, without needing to have a card. It also facilitates the process of making transactions of large amounts, with different authorization and security models.
  • Debit Cards: With this product, customers can pay for products or services at multiple merchants using their available funds.
  • Credit Cards: These cards allow the payment of products or services at multiple merchants using available credit, and opt for installment financing. In addition, access to the use of ATMs to be able to make cash advances.
  • Merchant cards: This project negotiates deals with various merchants, offering them the issuance of merchant-branded credit cards, but processed by the bank.
  • Card printing at the point of use: This service allows the customer to receive their card at the same time they request it, validating its immediate use.
  • Third-party collections: This service allows customers to pay for services in the bank's different channels, using the funds they have available and even having the possibility of withdrawing funds from the bank to pay at another institution.
  • Self-service kiosks: These kiosks allow consultation transactions on all its products, issue certificates, enter requirements and procedures, and make payments and prepaid recharges.
  • Auxiliary teller windows and CNB: This is a service that allows transactions at auxiliary teller windows and CNB, rapidly increasing coverage and service hours.
  • Mobile Wallet and App: These are digital services that allow for checking account balances and movements, card balances and movements, as well as making transfers and payments for basic services. It also facilitates the consultation of current loans and the application for new ones.
  • Automated Teller Machines (ATMs): This is a service that allows transactions at the bank's ATMs and those of affiliated banks or networks, with wide coverage.
  • OTP System: It is a service generated by email, SMS, and App for the authentication of critical transactions.
