Career[editar]

Gil Rabbi was raised in Ramat Gan, Israel, where he studied at Blich High School. His career started in 2003, when he established during his military service, a digital platform for the military induction chain at the Tel Hashomer absorption and sorting base.

In 2005, Gil Rabbi founded Rabbi Interactive Technology Agency. The company operates to the present day and is dedicated to integrating new technologies in the field of digital, and developing engagement products for the major news websites in Israel, including Mako, Ynet, and N12.

In 2012, Gil Rabbi worked as a digital mentor to several soccer players at former soccer player Avi Nimmi's company called Nim-Group Sport.

In 2013, Gil Rabbi excelled in two projects. The first was the founding of the company No-Show, which developed a specialized technology for caller ID privacy.

The second was the development of the technology for the Rising Star TV show, with which viewers voted and chose the singer Netta Barzilai to represent Israel at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, the singer Kobi Marimi for the 2019 Eurovision Contest, and the singer Eden Elena for 2020. Over half a million people participated using the application.

In 2014, Gil Rabbi developed another application, but this time with the collaboration of the Keshet franchise and for the interactive TV game show TOUCH. This show was sold to the Colombian TV network Caracol. The app was among the 10 most intriguing platforms of 2016 at the MIPTV festival in Cannes, France, and entered into Best Brand Driven Format in 2017.

Again in collaboration with the Keshet TV franchise, Gil Rabbi created the platform for broadcasting bodies called Mako Tools in 2016. This platform allowed the broadcaster to interact with a second screen with viewers of programs such as Big Brother, Ninja Israel, and Master Chef.

In the same year 2016, Gil Rabbi was featured by Amazon's Cloud Company - Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a resume on his developed products, being the first Israeli to get such coverage by Amazon. In addition, he was chosen among the 100 most influential people in the digital industry of Israel by the Israeli Digital Organization.

In 2017, Gil Rabbi launched the company Mervix, which provides digital solutions to musicians and artists. Since then, the company has been assisting celebrities such as Aviv Geffen, Blackfield, Noa Kirel, Jonathan Mergui, Netta Barzilai, Lior Narkis, Subliminal, and Sarit Hadad.

In 2018, Gil Rabbi created an augmented reality effect on Instagram together with Aviv Geffen, which allowed users to use a virtual make-up effect of the singer.

That same year, Gil Rabbi was recognized as being on the 40 under 40 lists of the most influential people in Israel by BizPortal, the economic-financial site, and ICE, an Israeli news publisher. All this after founding Storycards, the first no-code platform.

In 2019, Gil Rabbi led the development of international products for the Eurovision event at the European Broadcasting Union. It was the first time in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest that the competing songs were revealed in digital products and without the names of the performers or countries from which they came in a digital game.

Also in 2019, Gil Rabbi participated as mentor and judge of the first Euro-hack organized in Israel. Then, he founded Crowdr, a company that provides a transfer of information between mobile devices in crowded places with the help of sound and without the need for Internet communication.

Using this technology, Rabbi activated 600,000 mobile devices of the audience in the biggest festival in Israel and kept them active during the show.

In 2020, Gil Rabbi led the development of an Israeli news site called the N12 website and a platform for content creators called Screenz Live.

In 2021, Gil Rabbi's technology was present in Israel's presidential elections, as people were able to exercise their right to vote at home and from their electronic devices.

No-code Platform[editar]

Since 2020, Gil Rabbi has single-handedly managed StoryCards, which provides the only platform in the world that allows any user to create engagement products without any code.

The platform was launched in 2021 and is a project that, according to Gil Rabbi, condenses all his knowledge in technology and engagement that he has acquired as a pioneer in these industries.
